11/9/2013: Epilogue

"And in the end…It was better then we ever could have imagined.
In between all the laughter and a few tears, lay a celebration neither one of us thought could actually come to fruition. The commitment to having a good time by all of our friends and family was overwhelmingly evident and the proof is illustrated through pictures like a novel of emotion. The music kept the bass line to the rhythm of the best party and celebration of which we have ever been a part. Each and every person in the room contributed to our happiness and set the tone for the start of our lives together.
Thank you all for the smiles and you're welcome for the hangover…cheers.

For my wife…
Amongst all the beauty, you managed to stand out. Surrounded by a couple hundred guests, I never felt lost or disconnected. The room slowed and silenced when we were close. It gave me a great sense of solace and safety to know we will always have each other. You gave me the best day of my entire life, but I say with compile certainty that I plan on telling you that multiple times over the course of our life together.
So, until the next best day of my entire life…I love you."

11/9/2013: Chapter 3 ~ Humor

When we started looking for a photographer, we wanted to ensure that they captured moments instead of poses. Our friends and family have personality and passion so we wanted to see their interactions and reactions in response to the environment, not a camera lens. While there were definitely tears of joy and pride throughout the night, I am not alone in feeling like I was laughing 90% of the time (as evidenced by the below images) and thankfully, a member of the photography team was on hand to immortalize those moments.

11/9/2013: Chapter 2 ~ Romance

For Dan and I, love is more than a feeling - it's a state of being.
Since our first day, love has embraced us and maintains a soft, but firm grip on our sense of self. It's seen in our eyes, our smiles, the way we carry ourselves, and how we treat everyone else. This honest presentation of our togetherness is expected by everyone who knows us. However, these precious moments with just us two, unveil the deep tenderness, devotion, and adoration that only I see when I look at him and when he looks at me.

11/9/2013: Chapter 1 ~ The Classics

Every wedding has its classic moments - the exchange of rings & vows, cutting the cake, first dances, and toasts from the heart. While we did not have a religious ceremony, it was important for us to uphold the traditions of our families as well as share our love and promise to each other in the way that countless couples have before us. And just as we were able display our love, appreciation, and respect for one another, we wanted to give our loved ones the chance to express it to us through words, laughter, tears, and dance. It was so special to have almost every member of our family in attendance - you made us who we are and we are forever grateful.
