10 Everyday Essentials

When a last minute brunch or weeknight date comes up, I remember how important it is have a running tally of the reliable items that make it easy to quickly get out of the house. This time of year, before it's tights weather and after you couldn't have possibly layered, is my favorite, so I feel most inspired to have fun with...
my ten favorite everyday essentials.

:: leopard flats :: I find the loafer style to be more flattering rather than the typical ballerina variety

:: black skinny jeans :: they're somehow more casual and at the same time fancier than in dark blue

:: army green utility jacket :: it goes with everything and leather sleeves make it all the better and a little warmer for chilly nights

:: gold chain necklace :: you want it chunky and to hit right at your clavicle to brighten your face and add some drama

:: graphic tee :: watercolor, floral, animal, celestial, words - whatever speaks to you and has a few colors

:: peach blazer :: Of course we all have a black, but peach is just as versatile, neutral, and less expected

:: loose tank :: in a bright hue, tucked in or worn out, this slinky number will be great under your jackets

:: full miniskirt :: in any neutral, color, or print this shape screams flirty and feminine while still being versatile

:: tan ankle boots :: with a stacked heel, wedge, or flat this shade will give everything a slight edge

:: colored scarf :: like the gold chain necklace, this brightens your face, but with warmth and a more casual tone

Now let's consider the fact that these items work together!
