Three Ways to Wear That Dress

Which was your favorite...left, center, or right?

That Dress for Girl's Night

Let's give it up for that dress!
1. You can wear it on it's own - it's just that cute, interesting, and flattering;
2. You can wear it with some casual layers - to make it autumn and errand appropriate.
3. And lastly, you can wear it for a night out with your favorite ladies.
This is the occasion to mix up patterns & colors and wear your highest heels with that extra accessory, be it a second cuff, silk scarf, or chandelier earrings. If I were a guest attending my own bachelorette party (which is happening in two short weeks), I would wear this exact outfit. However, since I am the VIP, my attire needs to be a bit more dramatic and Carrie-esque, so I'm bringing out the tulle!

That Dress for Weekend

So back to that dress...
At this point you have either purchased one or, maybe already have one. It might be the one that you wore the crap out of during the spring and summer months, but are unsure about how to make appropriate for fall (without those wedges). Or, it could be the one that you've worn to a birthday party or two last year and only styled it for a night out with your signature smokey eye. Regardless which category you fall in, that dress can be worn and reworked to accommodate brunch, then errands, then watching the football game. All it takes is some light layering, like a chambray and a cardigan finished off with a pair of ankle boots.

That Dress

I now have that dress.
That dress that I will turn to in times of stress, happiness, or low inspiration. That dress that I can style countless ways and will always feel put together. I have three outfits to show you this week that make this gem appropriate for date night, weekend errands, and a girl's night out.
First of all, we have the classic way for date night, amped up with some of my favorite accessories - a couple statement necklaces, pastel clutch, and leopard strappy sandals.
